Gacka Museum

The Gacka Museum is a local museum located in the very center of Otočac, at the Gacka Public Open University. Its focus is the continuous recognition and preservation of heritage and its value and importance to our past, present and future.

In addition to common household objects, the museum’s cultural and historical collections contain mainly postcards and photographs of Lika, Velebit, Gacka, Otočac and its surroundings. The Ethnographic Collection presents  traditional life of the Gacka region through exhibits of furniture, clothing and household objects. The permanent exhibition of the museum also includes archeological, art and other collections.
